2022 has not provided many opportunities for our students to utilise the various sporting facilities at the College, so it was a massive relief that Year 9 students were able to engage in a variety of sporting games this week during their Extended Pastoral Care period.

These games aimed to foster teamwork, engagement and physical health at the end of the term for the pure enjoyment of all students involved.

As a Pastoral Care Coordinator, it is always pleasing to see so many students engage themselves in opportunities such as this. This experience also reinforced the diverse ways that students are Edmund Rice College can engage with their fellow classmates in dedicated Pastoral Care lessons.

Our focus on promoting healthy physical, social and mental health is of the utmost importance!

I look forward to more chances that our boys can have like this in the future!
