Edmund Rice College delivers a curriculum tailored specifically to educate young men. It motivates our boys to discover what’s possible when they look within and to strive to achieve a life less ordinary.
With an extensive range of subjects, our broad and dynamic curriculum is delivered in modern state-of-the-art facilities. We prepare our students for the real world, bridging academic and real-life skills.
Our curriculum addresses the needs of young men on many levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It equips them to walk towards their dreams, and face inevitable challenges, beyond the school gates.
Year Level Courses and Elective Subjects
Years 7 and 8 are transition years into secondary school. It’s a time when students experience inspiring teachers and engage in innovative learning experiences across many subjects.

Years 11 and 12 is a time for students to play to their strengths and look to the future. Our boys make a choice to follow an academic or non-academic pathway during their senior years. Regardless of which path, students who choose subjects they enjoy over subjects they ‘should’ do have longer term success.

Edmund Rice College offers a multi-faceted approach to diverse learning styles. Students with learning needs are supported by highly qualified teachers and specialised support officers. Our approach includes full integration, supported classes, life skills, plus literacy and numeracy intervention.
