As a part of the Pastoral Care Program on Tuesday the 21st of February, Year 9 attended an informational presentation delivered by a local Police Liaison Officer. The presentation was captivating, containing information around a number of important issues with particular reference to violence, anti-social behaviour, protective strategies to ensure the safety of themselves and others, as well as how to build positive relationships which model respect and responsibility.

With the Pastoral focus for Year 9 this year being “ Becoming a Good Man”, this presentation fit the theme perfectly, and provided the boys with a depth of knowledge around key issues within society and ultimately how to step up and become a good man in the footsteps of Blessed Edmund Rice.
