Year 12 Happenings….

Respectful Relationships

Both Year 11 and Year 12 students attended a presentation earlier this week, delivered by NSW Police Engagement Officer, Darren Palk on the important and relevant topic of respectful relationships. The presentation gave each student pertinent advice on how to engage with other people in a respectful manner, particularly when relationships have been formed and the possible consequences if one acts in a way that works against respectful relationships, explicitly addressing the topic of consent. This presentation will be followed up in Week 8 with Youth Law Australia (YLA) reinforcing the laws associated with consensual relationships. We thank Constable Palk for his time and support.

Congratulations to Bailey Abela – NSW CCC Cricket

Congratulations to Year 12 student Bailey Abela who represented the Combined Catholic Colleges Cricket team last week in the NSW Combined High Schools Cricket Championships. Bailey performed to a high standard in all games played, and we as a College look forward to seeing in the coming weeks if Bailey is successful in being named in the NSW High Schools side. Incidentally, Bailey achieved this honour as a Year 11 student last year.
