On Friday 9th June we, the Wellbeing Prefects of Year 10, 11, and 12, travelled to Knox Grammar School to attend the Student-Led Wellbeing conference. Throughout the day we engaged in multiple interactive activities varying from student run workshops to keynote presentations that enriched our understanding of wellbeing in adolescents. We found it a valuable experience to not only learn about wellbeing but also to broaden our network and collaborate with students from schools such as Knox Grammar, St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill, The Kings School, and Ravenswood School for Girls. Many aspects of the subject matter stood out to us, including the ways mentoring programs can positively impact students and their wellbeing. We thank Ms Potter, Mr Panozzo and Mr Rowe for their time, accompanying us on a mind enriching journey. We extend a depth of gratitude to Knox Grammar for their hospitality, wisdom and facilitation of the event.
