On Monday 29 May, the College’s successful tennis team travelled to Bathurst to compete in the NSWCCC Tennis Championships.

The team, who consisted of Aston Rowles, Ari Ganassin, Deni Dimovski and Zane Cross represented Edmund Rice College who qualified for this tournament after winning the Diocesan Championships in Term 1.

The team represented Edmund Rice College with distinction, and went through the group bracket undefeated, eventually qualifying for the final against St Columba’s Springwood. The boys battled hard in the winter Bathurst conditions, but had to settle for a silver medal.

Well done gentlemen on a sterling effort, and thanks to Mr Jackson who managed the team!
