Liturgy is an important part of our Catholic school community and the word liturgy literally means ‘work of the people.’ In this respect, we invite the members of our community to take time to find that balance between action and reflection so that you can meet God in the moments of prayer and stillness. Besides the celebration of the mass, the SRC Liturgy leaders write prayers for the Daily Announcements and the Monday morning prayer shared over the PA for the whole community. We have Assemblies that include a Liturgy of the Word and, as a community, we pray every Friday at lunch time in the Chapel. You can leave prayer request at the chapel on any day and the students will add it to the prayer on Friday. Next week, we will be praying for health and wellbeing, particularly for those experiencing ill mental health. We invite all to join us.
