Year 7 – 10 Exams and Reporting

Semester 1 Examinations have now begun with PDHPE and Visual Design this week. Over the next two weeks students in all junior year groups will undertake tasks to complete the Semester.

Students have been issued with a timetable for exams and will have received study guides from each of their subjects. I wish our students well and hope they can display all that they have learnt this year.

If a student misses a scheduled exam they will be required to complete a catch up task as soon as practicable upon return. Any tasks not completed by the end of the semester will not be included in the semester 1 reports.

Semester 1 reports will be available early week 10 and will contain both an assessment marks along with a grade. These reports will provide an excellent snapshot of your sons current progress allowing for meaningful conversations during interviews held in staff week.

Year 10 into 11 2022 Subject Selections

The Year 11 subject selection process is in full swing with students investigating their future pathways.

Each student is currently working on a careers investigation which will help identify career interests. Each student has been emailed an access code to our online subject selection platform. These selections are to be completed by Friday, Week 7, 4th June 2021. Each of these selections will require parents/guardians to view and agree on their son’s selection.

In this process the students have a wealth of resources available to them including careers help, subject teachers and myself. Please encourage them to have a conversation as thinking out their choices now can make the HSC just that little bit easier.
