Film Club in International Film Competition!

ERC Film Club has been accepted for Focus on Ability Short Film Festival! Please Vote!

ERC Film Club has been working rigorously despite Off-Campus Learning during Term 3. After two terms of filming, many zoom meetings and hours of post-production, the film titled ‘Together We Are An Ocean’ has been accepted for the short film festival Focus On Ability!

This year’s 13th Festival has seen a huge number of applications. 264 films were submitted from 22 countries competing in 6 categories from both Australia and Internationally.

The online voting for School Entrant Short films went live yesterday and we need all your help to win! Many years the difference between winning and 2nd has been under 5 votes so every vote counts.

Go to the website www.focusonability.com.au, note that you can vote only once.

Please read the voting instructions below:

When your film is on our website, under your film will be a vote now button. People simply click on the button and enter their details. All votes must be verified to count. That means everyone who votes will be sent an email with a verification link, they then simply verify via that link. This means people cannot cheat and put in fake email addresses. We also have a manual verification system, so if your voters aren’t receiving the verification email don’t stress (spam folders etc) their vote will still count, we can identify the real email addresses. To incentivise voting, we are giving away $50 iTunes vouchers to random voters.

Thank you and congratulations to Mrs Leen Rampe and Mrs Jennifer Hodson who have worked so hard with the boys in Film Club. All students are welcome to join on Thursday afternoons from 2.05pm – 2.55pm via Mrs Rampe’s zoom link.
