On the 16th of June the Edmund Rice College Hockey team, captained by Kye Malby and Henry Jones, travelled to Narellan to compete in the 2021 Diocesan Hockey Competition. The boys started strong with a 3-0 win over St John’s Nowra and a 2-0 win over St Joseph’s. The last round game saw us win 1-0 against Holy Spirit which placed us in 1st in our pool. This matched us up against Mt Carmel in the Finals. We were ahead for the majority of the game and played well but a goal to them in the last minute saw us go down 2-1. Congratulations to all the players who conducted themselves with great sportsmanship.
