On Monday 19th June the College Hockey team, captained by Hamish O’Neill and assisted by Henry Jones, travelled to a frosty Narellan to compete in the Open Boys Diocesan of Wollongong Hockey Carnival.
The 3 round games saw the team dominate their pool, scoring a massive 15 goals with no goals or penalty corners against them. In the semi-finals they came up against St Joseph’s, who showed some talent but were no match for the skills showed across the park by the team.
The grand final match-up against St Benedict’s solidified the teams dominance winning 4-0. A big congratulations to all the team contributing to a skilful display of talent throughout the day, having no goals or penalty corners against them.
A special thanks to injured Bailey Everett for refereeing for the College all day and Mr Sjostedt for driving the bus.
