Creative Arts at Edmund Rice continues to flourish which is evident through our recent success in the 2021 HSC. Each year, exemplary students are selected to perform or have their work exhibited in various showcases around the state. ArtExpress is an annual series of exhibitions of exemplary artworks created by New South Wales Visual Arts students for the Higher School Certificate. The OnSTAGE exhibition features exemplary individual projects by HSC Drama students. Projects include costume, lighting and set design, promotion and program, and theatre review. ENCORE is a program of outstanding performances and compositions by students from the HSC Music examinations.

These showcases celebrate the high achievements of the selected students. Congratulations to the following students have been included for 2022:

ArtExpress: Mathias Decker with his photographic work ‘Aegaeon’ (god of storms). Mathias’s photographs will be included in the Virtual Exhibition VX and also exhibited at the Bank Art Museum Moree (BAMM).

OnStage: Benjamin Johnston for his individual project – Lighting Design ‘Silent Disco’ which will be exhibited in the foyer of the Seymour Centre, Sydney, from Monday 14 February to Friday 18 February 2022.
