2021 Edmund Rice College Swimming Carnival
The College Swimming Carnival was held on Friday 19 February at Western Suburbs Pool Unanderra. It was great to see an increase in student involvement this year, with over 160 students competing and a further 15 students volunteering to help with the running of the carnival.
Throughout the day, we saw some fantastic individual performances, numerous records being broken and excellent displays of school spirit. Every race was being watched and cheered on by the students, and this encouraged each swimmer to strive to do their very best. Thank you to the PDHPE faculty, Mrs Anderson, Mr Michlmayr and the PASS helpers for allowing the carnival to run so smoothly, further thanks to our photographers on the day Henry Hofman & Will Davidson.
The following student’s performances led to them being crowned Aged Champions on the day, students will receive their trophies at a sport or year assembly later in the term:
U12 – Oliver Johnson
U13 – Ashton Moran
U14 – Jayden Beaumont
U15 – Jack Wilson
U16 – Jake Potter
