During the Term 3 holidays Year 11 students Hugh Akmacic & Matthew Bunder represented NSW playing at the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships in Bendigo Victoria. Teams from every State & the ACT competed, with ages ranging from U14 through to U18.

Both Hugh & Matt’s teams made the playoffs but unfortunately both teams just missed out on a medal. It was a great experience for them playing with and against the best youth volleyballers in the country.

Hugh and Matt run volleyball sessions and training with Mr Forshaw on Friday afternoons in the ERC Centre. Training will resume after the complete of the HSC exams. Any student interesting in attending, please see Mr Forshaw or Mr Timpano for information.
