As school holidays are approaching, I wanted to reflect on some of the successes and growth we have witnessed over this past term. We have seen numerous achievements on the sporting field throughout the term with awards and representative  selections going to boys including Ashton Moran, Elias Oldfield and Thomas Kirk.

We have also seen a number of boys step up into leadership roles including our first ever appointed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Prefect – Balunn Simon, Year 8 Liturgy Prefect – Izak McMurtrie and Year 8 Sports Prefect – Elias Oldfield.

In looking forward to term 2, as covid restrictions have eased we are now also able to hold a welcome breakfast in Term 2 for staff, students, community, elders and family members to attend a smoking ceremony to officially welcome all the boys here at ERC. Announcement of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Vice Prefect will be published in Week 1 of Term 2.
