Friday 2nd June saw our Year 9 and 10 Commerce students operating their fun and flavoursome Market Day stalls. The day gave our budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their skills, unleash their imagination, and embrace the world of business. Full of enthusiasm, our boys began setting up their stalls, perfecting their products and honing their sales strategies to ensure they provide an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Not only did the day give our students an opportunity to shine, but it also served as a valuable learning experience where they gained firsthand knowledge of financial literacy, customer service, marketing, and the overall operations of a business.
I would like to express sincere gratitude to our parents for your support and assistance behind the scenes to make this event a success. As a cohort we have helped raise over $3500 to support our chosen charities; Orange Sky and Wollongong Homeless Hub.
