Support the Housing Trust

One of the aims of an Edmund Rice education is to be inclusive and to promote the liberation of all people from what marginalises them. The Housing Trust is a local organisation that is a great example of how we can continue to do this after school and in the choices we make for work.

Housing Trust is a multi-award-winning Community Housing Provider and are celebrating 40 years serving the community of the Illawarra. They provide safe, secure, affordable rental housing to over 2,500 people across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. They are proud of the homes they build, the jobs and economic impact they create and the inter-generational health and wellbeing outcomes they’ve achieved for the region.

TRUST: STORIES OF HOUSING TRUST

This selection of works from the TRUST: Stories of Housing Trust photographic exhibition celebrates the people who have lived experience of social housing or homelessness.

For Housing Trust’s 40th Anniversary, artist Tim Bauer, one of Australia’s leading portrait photographers with (coincidentally) a career spanning forty years spent time capturing the people whose lives have been touched by Housing Trust.

Why not make some time to visit Project Contemporary Art Space to celebrate how the Housing Trust is building a better world for all?
