Transport
Edmund Rice College is well served by public transport. An extensive school special network links the College to timetabled bus and rail services, for both Junior and Senior students.
Bus Services
Premier Illawarra provides school specials to bring students to and from the College covering suburbs from Shellharbour to Corrimal. Specific route details are available from the College or from Premier Illawarra (Ph: 4271 1322)

Rail Services
Normal train services can be used to Wollongong Station. Students then connect with a special school bus from Piccadilly Shopping Centre (Crown Street). For more details contact the College or visit the Transport NSW website.
Public Transport Application
The School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS) provides eligible school students with free or subsidised travel from home to school. You can apply online through Transport for NSW.
At all times when travelling in public students must adhere to the NSW Code of Conduct covering bus travel and public driving.
Student Drivers
Students must apply to their Year Coordinator for permission to drive to and from the College. Application forms are available from the Year Coordinator. Parental consent is required.
Student Passengers
Students who wish to be a passenger with a student driver to and from the College, must apply to the Year Coordinator. Application forms are available from the Year Coordinator. Parental consent is required.
Bike Riders
Bike racks are provided at the College. Please note helmets are compulsory for all students riding to school.
Skateboards and Scooters
Skateboards and scooters are not allowed as transport to and from the College.
Parent Drivers
Parents/Carers/Guardians are requested to drop students outside College gates and NOT to drive into the College grounds. There are two entrances to the College: Keira Mine Road and Mount Keira Road. Where possible, Keira Mine Road should be used.
