On Friday the 10th March, the current Year 12 Hospitality Students along with Mr Pierro and Ms Codey, prepared, cooked and served an array of hearty food to the Homeless of Wollongong. The students were in charge of the day showcasing their learnt skills, cooking dishes and serving at the Wesley Uniting Church in Wollongong Central.

This was the first time in 3 years that Edmund Rice Hospitality students have been able to run an event like this, finally being outside of the restraints that COVID presented.

This was a rewarding and memorable experience for the students as well as providing them with a mandatory service period needed for the requirements of their Certification.

This is what the current Year 11 Hospitality students can look forward to over the course of their study.
