This week at the College the SRC is leading an initiative to advocate for the elimination of violence against women. The “She’s Someone” campaign raises awareness about respect and the dehumanisation that results from disrespectful and violent behaviour. The SRC has placed ‘silent witnesses’ with current facts about violence around the school to bring awareness to the gravity of the situation and our responsibility to build a world where all are respected simply because we are all people. Thank you to the Zonta club of Wollongong for providing the boards to enhance the days of action for the elimination of violence towards women.
