This year’s EcoERC Sustainability Conference was held at Edmund Rice College on Monday 21st June. The event saw students and teachers from schools across the South Coast and Sydney region coming together to discuss how they are maintaining a healthy environment and ensuring it thrives.. A spotlight was placed on school initiatives aimed at reducing the footprint of students, and effective ways of getting everyone involved in these schemes. Gardening Australia’s Costa Georgiadis participated via Zoom to help facilitate discussion of sustainable and practical ways students can deal with waste at their own school.
