On Friday April 23 we recognised ANZAC Day with a drama and liturgy. The Year 12 Drama students and volunteers from Drama Club, under the expert direction of Ms Mascord presented an extract adapted from Ross Mueller’s “A Town Named War Boy.” Our guest speaker, Mr Ian Birch, President of the Vietnam Veterans Illawarra Sub-branch gave a moving speech about his own experience and encouraged us to all know the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by John McCrae. Our cadets helped us to honour the day and Patrick Sirianni played The Last Post which can be viewed HERE. We thank each and every person who contributed to making this such a special occasion.
