Event Overview

The Alumni Golf Day invites upto 100 players to enjoy a fun day of golf while also reconnecting with the ERC community, relive memories, and create new ones.

Event Date: Friday, 11 October 2024

Venue: Wollongong Golf Club

Event Type: Two-Person Ambrose

Format:

• Teams: Each team consists of two players. Teams are self-selected and can also indicate who they would like to be paired with.
• Ambrose Rules:
  • Both players hit their tee shots.
  • The team selects the best shot, and both players play their next shot from that location.
  • This process is repeated until the ball is holed out.
  • The team records the score for each hole.
  • At least two tee shots from each player must be used each 9 holes.
• Scoring:
  • The event is scored on a net basis, with the lowest net score winning.
  • Additional prizes can be awarded for individual achievements such as Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin, etc.

• Team Prizes: Awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on the net team score.
• Individual Prizes: Include prizes for Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin, Drive and Pitch, etc.

Registration and Packages

We offer three registartions options:

• Individual Player Package: Priced at $110, this package includes your entry into the tournament, breakfast, lunch, drink tickets and the post-game celebrations.
• Group Registartion: Only one person (Team Leader) needs to register and pay ($440) for a group of 4 player entries (2 Ambrose teams). Team Leader enters his/her contact details as well as three teammates names.
• Corporate Sponsorship: At $500, this premium package offers corporate teams 4 player entries (2 Ambrose teams), hole sponsorship with corporate branding, and a choice of challenge/hole, alongside all the benefits of the Individual Player Package.
