Throughout the term, the 100 Hour music classes have been working on composition and arrangement techniques.
One of the activities included arranging a short medley from several popular songs. Whilst seeming a simple task, the challenge was to carefully consider musical transitions and linking passages to enable a smooth transition into each melody.
Another task involved composing an original riff with a band accompaniment. Enjoy some of the exemplary work samples from the students.
