Outdoor Education Program
Our sequential outdoor education program across Years 7 to 10 provides the opportunity for students to appreciate the natural environment as they build their physical abilities, resilience, self confidence and team work skills through controlled adventure challenges and experiences.
Year 7: Let’s Go Outdoors
Our Year 7 cohort participate in a 3 day Orientation camp at Fitzroy Falls, where they get to meet new friends and participate in a range of team building and adventure activities including Canoeing, High & Low wires, Big swing, Intro abseiling, MTB, Archery, Bush discovery and Koorie experience.
Year 8: Let’s Go Bush
Our Year 8 students head to Coolendel/Shoalhaven River for a 3 day Camp, where they participate in a range of team building and challenge initiatives while building on their canoeing, archery MTB, abseiling and rock climbing and GPS navigation skills
Year 9: Ski Trip or Camp
Our Year 9 students can choose the optional Year 9 Ski Trip to develop their Skiing or Snowboarding skills for a week at the Thredbo snow fields or they can attend the Year 9 Camp which varies each year.
Year 10: Let’s Grow and Lead On – Wilderness Program
Our Year 10 students head to Coolendel / upper Shoalhaven River / Morton National Park for a 5 day expedition where they hone their campcraft/bushcraft skills, environmental awareness, abseiling, rock climbing & roping and team work skills throughout the Canoeing, Bushwalking and MTB legs of the expedition.
Year 11 & 12: Senior Retreat and Reflection program.
The Duke of Edinburgh Program
Our Year 10 students are provided with the opportunity to participate in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award program. The College provides support and opportunities for our students to attain the Bronze and Silver Awards.
