Yesterday we released the TASS (The Alpha School System) Parent Lounge Online: https://erc.nsw.tass.cloud/parentlounge. This online portal will provide vital communication between parents and the school. The TASS Parent Lounge replaces Edumate and access will be delivered via an automated email. As a secure measure only one of the parent email addresses in the system will receive the account setup email.
Current features we have just released include your son’s timetable, absence from school all day and Daily notices. Please regularly go to the Daily Notices section for up to date important notices.
Only absent from school entries entered by the parent or the office will appear on the Portal. For a student who has been absent from an individual lesson they will be registered by the teacher, but will not appear on the parent portal
Whilst we are delivering remote learning the roll is marked each lesson and will not automatically register on the Parent Portal as “Absent from School”. If you know prior to the commencement of the school day that your son will be absent from lessons, we encourage you to register your son as being “Absent from School”.
When we are back onsite, the Homeroom period will be used as the lesson for teachers to register a student “Absent from School”, thereby allowing you to respond via the Parent Lounge.
