BEING PREPARED FOR OFF-CAMPUS-LEARNING
It is important with learning at home that students get a good start to the day, have an organised learning space, are dressed for success, remember online etiquette, have all required learning materials, remain healthy and are productive.

OFF-CAMPUS-LEARNING GUIDES FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS
Parents are reminded that on https://lera.erc.nsw.edu.au there specific links to assist with this transition to Off-Campus-Learning.
All learning will occur through Google Classroom, whilst Zoom will be used to deliver online lectures and tutorials for students each day.
The following documents offer assistance for students and parents:
Students submitting work on Google Classroom will be the predominant method students should be using to submit work for feedback
Recording a video on a laptop using screencastify offers a method for your son to make a quick screen recording for speeches and other presentation requirements.
Being able to monitor your son’s progress offers an easy way for you to observe your son working in a different room in the house.
Students accessing their school timetable will allow them to navigate from one subject to another in a similar way when on campus.
Parents and students are reminded that teachers are posting lessons frequently on Google Classroom. It is the responsibility of each student to frequently throughout the day follow the set instructions.
There is also a useful link on LERA (lera.erc.nsw.edu.au)that provides students methods to stretch and attempt to keep moving in these trying times (https://kidshealth.org/). Please ensure that your son does spend time away from the computer throughout the day and uses suggested methods to move around. Also remember any issues with technology will be addressed immediately by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
