Last Thursday, as a follow on from the Parent Seminar on ‘Study Skills’ and in preparation for the Year 7 Exams, I offered a workshop for Year 7 students on ‘Creating effective study notes and how to use them’

I was so thrilled to see over 80 students attend the workshop. We ran out of tables and chairs and snacks, while the overflow of students sat on the floor eager to learn the simple strategies that will equip them with note taking skills in preparation for their exams. The atmosphere was reminiscent of the feeding of the 5000!

Student feedback was encouraging and positive, and I’m confident that they will be better equipped in themselves as they sit for their exams.
