Year 12 student Mitchell Blackbourn competed at Australian Junior Triathlon Sprint Championships in Adelaide in April where he was crowned the Australian Champion. With Mitch’s win, he was named on the Australian team to compete at the World Junior Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany in July this year.

Mitchel will also travel as part of the Australian Junior team attending a training camp in the Holton, Netherlands where he will also compete in the Holton Junior Euro Cup. The team will then travel to Osnabruek, Germany for 1 week before heading to Hamburg for the World Championships.
