Year 9 Enrichment -Sydney Writer’s Festival

Year 9 Enrichment students are commencing an English Unit on ‘Cultural Voices’ and will be attending the Sydney Writers’ Festival on Wednesday 24th May at Pier 2/3, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay, Sydney, from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
UNIFORM: Full College winter uniform is to be worn.
TRANSPORT: Students will travel by train to Circular Quay and walk to Walsh Bay.
Students are to meet Ms Offner and me at Wollongong Station at 7.00am in time to catch the 7.18am train to Circular Quay. It is expected that we will return to Wollongong Station at 3.51pm.
The College will issue students with an Opal Card to be used for travel on the day of the excursion only. All Opal Cards must be returned to the teacher in charge.
Students will need to arrange their own transport to and from the station.
Please indicate on the Permission Slip below if your son will board/alight the train at an alternative station (Kiama, Thirroul or Helensburgh only).
COST: No cost involved.
Students should bring a notepad and pens/pencils. They should also bring their lunch with them.
Please complete the Permission Slip below and have your son return it to me by Wednesday 12th May.
