‘The undercard’ Surf School Development Contest

Also, please complete the “Permission for Event” on the Edumate Portal (erc.edumate.net.au) by Friday 22nd September, indicating transport arrangements to and from Woonona Beach for your son and provide a contact telephone number in the notes section of the screen.
Your son has been selected to attend ‘The Undercard’ Surf School Development Contest. Students from many government and non-government schools will compete in a knockout format competition. All competitors must have participated in and passed the ERC Surf Training OSSA Qualification.
ERC has entered teams in both the Junior (U16) and Open Divisions. We will attempt to enter as many teams as possible on the day. Entry fee will be covered by the College.
Parents are most welcome to attend and watch the surfing. Details are as follows:
DATE: Friday 13th October
VENUE: Woonona Beach
TRANSPORT: Students are to make their own way to and from Woonona Beach. Students driving to the venue must have completed the required documentation and lodged it with their Year Co-ordinator. (Student passengers are not allowed on this occasion)
TIME: Check-in time for competitors is 7.30am.
CLOTHING: Casual sun-safe clothing including hat and sunglasses.
FOOD: It is recommended that students bring their own food and drinks.
SUPERVISION: Mr Callan (0410 459102)
REQUIREMENTS: Appropriate surfboard, wetsuit, boardshorts, rash vest and sun protection. We also encourage the use of head protection.
Please complete the attached “Student Waiver” and have your son return it to me by Friday 22nd September.
