NSW Parliament House

Your son has been asked to participate in the Kiama Student Leaders Forum to be held in NSW Parliament House on Thursday 6th August 2015. This event, now in its fifth year, will be hosted by Gareth Ward MP, Member for Kiama and presents students with a great opportunity to learn about our system of Government in NSW and the important work of local MP’s.

The day will commence at 10.30am and conclude at 2.30pm, and will include a tour of NSW Parliament House and an educational component. Students will also be invited to view Question Time in the Legislative Assembly.

Students are to wear full College uniform. Whilst lunch will be provided on the day, students are encouraged to bring their own recess and/or afternoon tea.

Your son is to make his own way to and from Parliament House, Macquarie Street, Sydney. It is recommended that he travel by train to Martin Place, departing Wollongong Station at 8.35am via Wolli Creek and returning at 3.13pm, arriving at Wollongong Station at 4.53pm.  He can purchase a student concession ticket if he carries the official Student Concession Card. This can be obtained from the College Office.

Please sign the Permission Slip below and have your son return it to his Year Coordinator by Wednesday, 20th May.

Yours sincerely
