Overview

The compulsory costs to attend the College are outlined below:

  • Enrolment Fee:  $200 payable once only upon acceptance of enrolment at ERC.
  • Tuition & Resource Fee:  Payable for each student in your family attending ERC.
  • Activities Fee: Payable for each ERC student in your family. This covers the cost of all compulsory activities including excursions, in-school activities, camps and retreats.
  • Elective Fees: Some elective subjects have additional costs for materials or specific activities.
  • Compulsory Family Levy:  $685 payable per family. This includes the Building Levy $625 and the Parent Forum Levy $60.

Family Discounts  

The following reductions apply to the Tuition & Resource Fee:

Second child currently enrolled:  20%

Subsequent siblings currently enrolled:  25%

This discount programme has been extended to families with children enrolled at Edmund Rice and St Mary Star of the Sea Colleges.

Voluntary Contributions

Edmund Rice College Building Fund

All  voluntary contributions to the College Building Fund are tax deductible. In 2017 all funds received will be contributed towards the Canteen project.

Edmund Rice Foundation

The foundation supports the projects of the Oceania Province of the Christian Brothers as they provide education, health and community development projects to break poverty cycles in specific communities across Australia and our partnering nations. An information brochure will be included with the Term 1 fee statement.  Please visit www.erf.org.au for further information.  

 

Payment of Fees  

  • The yearly fee is billed over 3 instalments, with fee statements sent to parents at the start of Terms 1, 2 and 3. Fee statements are required to be settled in full within 21 days of receipt of the account, unless you have arranged a payment plan.
  • A term’s notice must be given for cancellation of tuition, otherwise a full term’s fee will be charged.
  • Fees can be paid by BPay, Direct Debit, EFTPOS, cheque or cash. More information will be provided with the Term 1 fee statement.
  • Parents/guardians who enrol their son at Edmund Rice College have a legal responsibility to meet their commitment to paying fees. Any parent/guardian experiencing difficulty regarding payment of fees by the due date must contact the Principal or Business Manager to discuss their situation to enable suitable payment arrangements to be made.
